In your Arms

By Rocky Dickerson

You breathe

And all the noise around me disappears in the safety and warmth of the sound of your breath

You smile

And all the tension from my day melts away

You look in my eyes

And I can reveal any secret to you and know I am safe with the soul I see in your eyes

You touch me

And I am not only soothed; I am also moved within my heart

You speak

And I have never heard a more pleasant symphony than the sound of your voice

You kiss me

And I forget the world around me and only know of the world as I always want it to be…

                                                              In your arms
