Somehow I sensed it when we first met
        unspoken and still felt to my deepest core.
Something in each thing that you are or do
        bringing to my heart that I just want more.
Your presence makes me smile
        as does even the mere thought of you.
Always making me blush in public
        and glow in side like you always do.

I wondered what it was
        that drew me in so close.
Your smile, your laugh, your eyes
        I found it was none of those.
Now I know that you are
        everything I look to be.
Now I see my love that you truly do
        bring out the very best in me.
