Here I stand

Awaiting

By the gate

The dog, tail wagging

Greets me playfully

There she stands

I stand

Stunned

She is 15 feet away

But I feel her in every fiber of my being

I’ve never met her before

And yet I’ve known her all my life

Here I stand

In love

All because of

The moment
